Pre Production Planning Phase 5

                                                     Hi and welcome to my blog. I'm Xharia C. and in today's blog post I will be going over the 5th part of the pre production planning phase. In this part we are showing how we prepare to record our film opening. And obviously you need to know exactly the highlights of your opening. And I do that by using the save the cat beat sheet. Its where we take the time to realize the highlights of your film or in my case film opening. And since I'm doing a film opening I have done 3 beats. Beat 1 is the opening image this is what you initially see the shot that introduces you to the film and sets the world around it. Beat 2 is theme-stated basically in this part it wants you to state the theme. and for beat 3 is the set up is where we learn the basics about the story. And finally the hook, the hook is where you get the main storyline of your film/ film opening.

                                                Hey and welcome back to my blog. And today we'll be going over an exercise that helps us get ready for our film opening process. It is called composition in film storyboard. Composition is  the  arrangement of everything in a frame while filming. but there are different parts of composition like how it focusses on a character or even what goes on in a scene. Composition is so important because it helps guide the audience what to bring their attention to. So, we had to make 8 boxes and draw a technique that involves composition, then write a caption under it.
